review 1: Review will be up on the blog soon :)This was a cute, funny and a quick contemporary read. I liked Megan as a character because she didn't let people push her around. I also liked her beat friends Steph and Keesha because they were always by her side. Amy was one of her best friends but she did a terrible thing and I guess it when it first happened but I won't spoil it. I liked the main male character Alex because he is one of the few guys who plays football who isn't a jock. He has made a few bad mistakes but he has put those mistakes behind him. Eric was a nice guy until he made some of the worst decisions in the book as did another guy called Ben but I knew it was going to happen. Ben turned out to be good it in the end.My favourite part was the ending because it ended ... morethe way I wanted it to and it kept me smiling as I was reading it.Overall I'd recommend this book if you want a quick, light read or just love contemporaries. Will definitely check out the second book :)
review 2: I'm currently on a mission to read all of Julie Pretsater's books. That being said, I had no idea that I would be sucked into a story that hit so close to home.We start the series with Meg and her friends as Freshmen in high school. I immediately connected with Meg and all that is meant to be a young girl finding your way in the big bad world of high school. A beautiful start to finding oneself and being true to who you are is what I took away from this book. less

So this book is corney and cheesy as hell but I really enjoyed it.
