review 1: Even though I was "underwhelmed" by volume one of this series I ended up reading volume 2 almost immediately because the library happened to have it. Again, I found myself just not getting into it...none of the characters particularly grabbed me and the only plot points I had been interested in during Volume 1 were not continued in Volume 2...I thought she might end up playing matchmaker more but this focused on her at school and a new character who is both a teen idol and a supernatural being. Again, I'm not going to be rushing to read the rest of this series.
review 2: I really loved the art in this volume, the frames were so pretty and well drawn. I'm not sure how it got better but it did. Loved this story arc as well. Kurama is really funny and well, rath
... moreer harmless. I love how outraged Tomoe gets though he does do as Nanami wants for the most part. The best though was the Tomoe as a kid arc. Wow, some of the best frames of him being cute and just loved the opportunity Nanami got to be the strong one. The manga is more subtle and the emotions more fluid and real than the anime. It's such a pleasure to read, so depth full and heartfelt. Raijin Narukami was a beautifully drawn character and I really loved her komainu. What made the entire story though was Tomoe's internal struggles with how he feels about Nanami. less

Well that's volume two and finished, and It was the best one yet!...though two volumes isn't much to go on. In this one we meet the arrogant, airhead, temporarily turned into an ostrich character Kurama who I can't stop myself from really liking. You also meet the bitchy, powerful character of Narukami-sama, the lightning princess. I really didn't like her but that was probably down to her steal the Land God's mark from Narukami. Anyway we also get to see Tomoedono in adorable mini version with his cynical personality intact, it was something I just could stop laughing at...: )
