review 1: I think I liked this better than the second one (I read them out of order. The translation / slang feels less clunky and Pascha / Sacha is a slightly more sympathetic character. The premise that that small time car theif has been murdered and can only communicate with the person who carried out his autopsy is unusual enough to draw you in. Other than that its a shortish quickish read ideal for idling time on holiday or whilst traveling. Its not too gory or grim although the sexist and slightly pathetic Pascha can be irritating.
review 2: Als ich erstmals von diesem Buch hörte, war ich begeistert und es landete sofort auf meiner Wunschliste. Aber leider wurde ich vom Lesen des Buches leider enttäuscht. Ich finde es ziemlich lächerlich oder besser ausgedrückt... more möchtegernwitzig. Es ist der Auftakt einer Reihe, aber ich weiß nicht, ob ich die anderen Bände überhaupt lesen möchte. Klar, hin und wieder war es so lustig gestaltet, dass ich lachen musste. Aber alles in allem hat mir dieses Buch leider nicht gefallen. Ich finde zwar die Idee witzig, dass ein Toter zum Rechtsmediziner spricht, aber die Umsetzung ist leider für meinen Geschmack nicht schön. less
