review 1: This is a really fun, entertaining book and something a bit different. I had seen this around before and hesitated to buy it, simply because I wasn't sure how good a book that has been translated into English from it's original language could be. I needn't have worried about this at all - the book is written in a really engaging way and the writing is very smooth indeed. I loved the idea behind the story and I found the narrator highly amusing throughout. It's fast-paced and I thought it was pretty cool and funny. There were a lot of quotable lines throughout and the ending was brilliant! Will be reading the next one soon. Highly recommended!
review 2: "Morgue Drawer Four", set in Germany, is a detective story with a difference. Think Randall and Hopkirk ... moreDeceased and you get the picture. The deceased in this case is a car thief named Pascha. Martin is the lovable pathologist being haunted by Pascha who is convinced his death was not accidental but murder. With Martin's help he hopes to prove it. This is a very funny story with many laugh-out-loud moments. I loved it. less
