review 1: Enjoyed this one more than the first. Errol's over the top alpha male attitude took a backseat in this one. He's definitely a take charge kind of guy, but I think that Taryn's character needs guidance. She seems so naive and fragile sometimes.I will say Taryn drove me to craziness. The back and forth with "she loves him, she loves him not" and "he can do so much better than me" and the jealousy. It was a bit much. Errol has a past. He makes no apologies and he doesn't lie about it. But he's with you, you stupid woman! Get it together, because he won't stick around forever if you're always thinking he's gonna cheat on you or leave you for someone else. Excited to read the final book in this series.
review 2: Book 2 starts up exactly were book one left off. Taryn... more has returned to NYC. She has decided that her time with Errol is something that she needs to put in her past and she needs to spend more time working her but off at her family’s restaurant and making it one of the new it places in town. Which se is succeeding at.Errol is a sweetheart and respects her wishes and leaves her alone. However a chance meeting at the restaurant when he is in town on business brings them back together. After Taryn faces a hardship that pus her, her family, and the restaurant in a bind Errol steps up to help in every way he can. At the same time he shows Taryn what an amazing man he really is.The two of them steam up my kindle from New York just as much as they did from Paris. And I loved meeting Taryn’s famly.
