review 1: Kaje Harper’s And to All a Good Night is a pleasant m/m romance for Christmastime. It takes only a very short time to read this novella, and to my amazement, there was no explicit sex scene. Though I’m a gay man, I’ve grown to not like the sex scenes in m/m stories, although I realize that the targeted readers of these stories are most likely looking for these scenes. My complaint with this novella is that I thought it should be a full length novel. The characters are appealing and the story is good. With more development, I think this would be a much more enjoyable read.
review 2: This was a nice short to bridge the gap between Books 1 and 2. Of course I'm obsessed with Mac and Tony so I'm a little biased. They're such a wonderful couple, but Mac's fea
... morers are very real and I liked the way this story used the mystery to start a bridge for Mac to face things.Tony is off to visit his family for the holidays and with his man out of town Mac has picked up the Christmas Eve shift at the precinct. A strange death sends Mac off searching for answers and the ones he finds are very different than what he expected. This story suffers for me only in that it's Mac and Tony apart and that always sucks. But it's very complete for a short and seeing how much one man loved another he never had is a wonderful reveal for Mac. He really faces how much he cares for Tony. I enjoyed this read and love this series! less

A sweet short story filling in the gap until the next installment. I love these two characters.
