review 1: I just love the way Karen McQuestion can weave a story. And I love, love dogs so this book was perfect for me. Told from the alternating viewpoint of Andrea, a woman just getting over a nasty divorce, and Dan, a man not realizing he is on the very of moving on from his wife's sudden death. The story intertwines many characters who know Dan and Andrea but Dan and Andrea do not know each other. I spent the entire book on the edge of my seat, knowing the needed to meet, and hoping each time they passed by seconds or had a brief encounter that this would be the time they connected. I laughed and I cried. Yep. Cried, right there on the plane. But when you read the book, you will understand.
review 2: What a lovely little story. The story revolves around a dog and ... morehow she brings two people together. Dan recently lost his wife and when Anni goes mising, his heart is broken. Andrea find Anni and gives her a good and loving home, but becomes really attached to Anni. Andrea and Dan nearly run into each other a few times yet fate has its way of selecting the right time and place ... Just a lovely Sunday read! less
