review 1: Meh. Finished because I hate unfinished books. Hated the main character because she had some serious social cue problems including lack of empathy and awareness. At the end, a greater boon would have addressed this and allowed for more time for the happy ending romance that felt not only forced but a little pathological on part of male lead. Seriously, man, you deserve way better. Didn't like any of the characters except the aunt (by way of her diaries).
review 2: "Easily Amused" has the makings of an entertaining, lighthearted chick lit story, however it lacks a few key ingredients. I feel that if she would have added a bit more character development and crisscrossing plots, the story could have actually been drawn out through a second book. As it is, it is a ... morequick read, which leaves a lot of the side plots without endings. For the price, however, it is worth the light reading entertainment if you are just looking for something to keep you busy on the beach, bus or just a lazy day. less
