review 1: This is quite a long book, just shy of 600 pages to be precise. In all honesty, I was very underwhelmed to begin with and really struggled to continue reading, it was utterly depressing if I'm completely brutal. 50% in though and the game changed entirely, I tore though it. Lots of highs and lows, I loved the little touch about having global knives in the kitchen (a true chefs knife if anyone is interested). Thoroughly enjoyed this in the end, it did require a bit of effort to start with. Well worth the money and I would recommend to friends.
