review 1: A great short story which introduces Will Trent's lastest gig,going undercover as a badass biker. He likes coke ice's and that is what gets this story started, a slow machine. he has an app on his iphone that tells him every location of an ice machine in GA. It just happened to be the slow one where all the action started. He wasn't even supposed to be there. The action is non stope, throw in a real 80 year old character calling her self MawMaw and fans of Karin Slaughter won't be able to put it down. It whets the appetite for her news release.
review 2: Busted is a short story featuring Will Trent, by popular American author, Karin Slaughter. While waiting to buy a frozen coke on his way to an undercover job in Macon, Will somehow gets involved in a situation ... morethat attracts town, county and state police as well as bringing down upon him the wrath of his boss Amanda. Slaughter manages to pack quite a bit into this one: a gas station hold-up, some motorcycle stunt riding, missing cash, a possible hostage situation and a very nasty old woman. The readers certainly get their money’s worth, including a laugh-out-loud ending and a preview of the next Will Trent, Unseen. less
