review 1: Eindelijk is deze dikke omnibus uit. Heb Triptiek ooit als eerste gelezen en besloten om nou deel 1. Nachtschade met Sara Linton te beginnen. Erg goed en gedetailleerd beschrijft ze de moorden en het onderzoek. Ook aandacht voor de personages en een beetje romantiek.Deel 2. Zoenoffer is deel 2 met Sara Linton. Hierin wordt meer de relatie van Sara en Jeffrey uitgediept. Het thema is erg actueel en schokkend. Namelijk kindermisbruik. Vond dit deel toch iets minder. Niet veel bloederigheid, maar wel gedetailleerd beschreven, zoals het onderzoek en de relaties.
review 2: Whoa. This novel by Karin Slaughter had me cativated in a way I hadn't with her novels yet. Kisscut is not for the faint of heart, the subject matter is deep and dark, yet very real. Not only does... more Slaughter weave her plot through society's darkest crime with unyeilding detail, she goes deeper than ever before into the lives of the characters she has built in this series. Such a well developed novel that had me thinking well after I had finshed reading. Thought provoking, dramatic, and exposing. Slaughter has the guts to tell this story, do you have the guts to read it? less
