review 1: I read this book for pleasure and couldn't be any happier with how good the book turned out to be. This is the last book in the Wildefire Trilogy. This book is about a reincarnation of a Polynesian goddess, Ashline Wilde. This book is mysterious, action-filled and intriguing. The characters were well developed and unique. This wasn't a book where I got the urge to skip head because i got bored. Ash has to protect the world from her ex-boyfriend Colt Halliday. Since I didn't read the other two books, this book got me interested to read them. I recommend this book to anyone who likes action-filled books that have to do with saving the world.
review 2: Very cool ending to a fabulously written trilogy! Definitely one of my favorite book series of all time! I do feel
... more there could have been a few more chapters or details mentioned to conclude some important events that happened in the story and also for the reader to have had one last look at certain characters instead of only focusing on Ashline. Even though the book was told from her point of view it would have been nice to know if some characters survived or had plans for the future instead of them just disappearing and leaving us to wonder what happened. Still "Afterglow" is an amazing book and made you feel almost every emotion.I applaud Karsten Knight for his wonderful unique ideas put together in an exhilarating trilogy! less
