review 1: I love it when I hit jackpot when using a random picker to choose what book to read next. And because it was random, I didn't read the blurb; which I think didn't do justice to the book, by the way. There's a love triangle in the story and I felt that it should have been mentioned in the blurb. And having said that, I'm glad I didn't read it before the book. I enjoyed the heroine's bittersweet realizations about the two men. The blurb was actually a spoiler. It didn't mention Nikolai's important part in the story.I. Love. This. Book. It made me laugh, made me swoon, and it even made me cry. Adriana is my girl. I love her character, she's fun, witty, loyal, strong, a good person through and through. She may be naive but she's not stupid nor weak. Luca is... *sigh* There's j... moreust something about a man who knows how to respect and love his mother, regardless of his notoriety in other aspects. In the first half of the book I was actually rooting for Nikolai, with his dark, mysterious appeal, he's just the perfect hero. But as the story progressed, I fell for Luca's character and was hoping Adriana will pick him (remember, I didn't read the blurb. Lol). Adriana and Luca just seemed perfect together. I'm glad the author thought so, too. As for my favorite character in the book, that would be Luca's mom, Simona. The scenes with Simona were both inspiring and heartbreaking that I cried near the end.I'm damned happy that this book is part of a series. I haven't read a story like this before and would definitely love to read more about the other characters, especially Nikolai who I'm hoping will have his own happy ending, too.I'm recommending this to all romance readers aged 18 and above. Definitely worth your time!
review 2: I was provided with a copy from FSSG on Goodreads for an honest review.(First of all: Ballet is not my favorite topic in a book. I have a childhood trauma from it...)The story is about a love triangle between Luca, a grieving designer, Nikolai, a choreographer and Adriana, a ballerina, who wants nothing more than to be loved. I am also not a huge fan of love triangles.I read this book a week ago and to be honest, I don't remember a lot. The writing was okay but the storyline wasn't anything exciting or new. This is not a book which is staying with you for a long time. I think the first book in the "a Musical Interlude" series was better, but this book is still going to get three stars. less
