review 1: I like this series a lot but I get a little annoyed at how arianas feelings towards people change so quickly from book to book. The same with Reed in the Private books, they jump from guy to guy so fast when they were just obsessed with someone else in the last book. also Lexa was super annoying in this book, not at all like the previous ones. And I wanted to hear something about Kiran! I hope Kate Brian keeps the continuity when the Private books catch up to these in timeline
review 2: Synopsis:Best Enemies...After getting rid of her best-friend-turned-enemy, Ariana Osgood should be on the top of the world. She's in love with a hot guy. She's a member of Atherton-Pryce Hall's best secret society. And she's one of the most popular girls on campus. But now that
... moreLexa Greene knows a terrible secret about her, everything Ariana has worked so hard for hangs in the balance. Can she keep up the facade...or is her house of cards about to tumble around her? From the author of the bestselling PRIVATE novels comes a series about the dark world of wealth, secrets, and PRIVILEGE.My Review:As I have said before, the Privilege series has been a guilty pleasure since number one. In the Private series, Ariana was always so sneaky and I was thrilled when they announced a new series about her. And throughout the Privilege series I have loved to find what sorts of mischief she has gotten herself into. This one was little different because although she hadn't neccesary done what she normally does, she had to get Lexa to keep her mouth shut.It was, as all of them are, intriguing and suspenseful. I didn't ever guess what was happening next because it was unexpected. There was also a little more tension added in the relationship between Ariana and Palmer. I've always liked Palmer. Just from the sound of his name to the sweet innocent character he is. But Ariana is bored with him and realizes she likes someone else. The story mostly deals with the whole Lexa situation. Now that Lexa had witnessed the incident from the last book, (trying not to give away spoilers) she has nightmares and is really going crazy in the mind. Everyone really wonders what is wrong with Lexa because she is freaking out at everything and acting pyscho. Ariana knows that sooner or later she is going to tell, and that is not good for her. Although Ariana tries to make it stop, the stories ends in an unexpected way.Pure Sin definitely set up for the next and final book, Cruel Love. I cannot wait to find out what happens. It's as if you are secretly hoping she won't ever get caught because you enjoy the books so much, but in a moral sense, you think that she should deserve some punishment. I am eager for it to come out. less
