review 1: I knew there was more than met the eye in this book, although I didn't quite see the twist ending coming. I actually didn't really like the way the book ended, I thought it was kind of abrupt. I don't know, sometimes it felt like the writer was trying too hard to come across as frightening and scary, and it took away from the plot. The characterization was a bit flat, I didn't really care about the character one way or the other. I'm not a big fan of the 'horror' genre, so I would probably pass this book.
review 2: Jocelyn tries to follow clues from her supposedly dead twin Jack, and finds links to the Seale House, a horrible foster house from their childhood. With help from Noah, who also was at Seale House, she finds out Jack's death and the company that both... more Jack and Noah worked for. Interesting plot twist ending...definitely was not expecting it...Really quite a vacuum -- just sucked me in until the end, and then just spit me back out. less
