review 1: Set in Venice this is another wonderful book from Ms. Noble. Bridget (sister from previous book) has arrived in Venice with the intention of having music lessons with a master. Oliver Merrick is actually the man who agreed and it becomes quite an undertaking in an entangled sort of way. Bridget has stage-fright and therefore plays for pleasure. Unfortunately the master is Oliver's half-brother and he gets them involved in a wager. As everyone works together you can almost "read/listen" to the wonderful music Bridget plays. I just love Ms. Noble's writing and always look forward to her next book.
review 2: This was a very different story line. It was centered around the main characters' love for music & how everyday life came through in the music. The hero
... more was more beta than alpha & I loved him from the start. It seemed everything he did was to benefit his brother or the heroine. The heroine was fearful of playing piano in front of crowds & the hero helped her to overcome her fear & to feel the music even more. I would highly recommend this book! I would recommend reading If I Fall first, as it is about her sister & relates to this book. less

I always enjoy Kate's books. She has a way of being turning the story on a dime.
