review 1: This is the first book, as well as my personal FAVORITE in the series. An Erotic and sensual story and some parts are heart-wrenching. Valentin (hero), is irresistible and I fell in love with his character right away. He is by far one the Sexiest and alluring characters I've ever read. One of the reasons this book is my favorite in the series is because I found Valentin and Sara's love for each other the most believable and of course the story is awesome! 5 STARS!
review 2: Not much to the story, but three likeable main characters in Valentin, Sara & Peter, and lots of VERY HOT sex scenes. The author's writing style was simplistic, with simple wording, short paragraphs and repetitive phrasing, but her naughty imagination in and out of the House of Pleasures made
... more up for it. Erotic tales set during the Georgian era are almost more sinful and scandalous than those set in our current era. Non vanilla sexual experiences were forbidden, but they were still human, they still carried their wicked fantasies, and were incredibly resourceful.'Simply Sexual' was simply delicious. less

Gross. This is probably the most unsexy sex I've ever read in a book.
