review 1: I can't remember the last time I read a book in under 48 hours, or the last time a book made me cry, or the last time I gave a fiction novel 5 stars. But all that changed the second I finished "Miss Scarlet's School for Patternless Sewing" by Kathy Cano-Murillo. I loved this book! And it could not have come into my life at a better time. A few weeks ago I signed up for my very first sewing class and have created a blog to record my journey. Who knows, maybe I'll have mad sewing skills and be the next Miss Scarlet! For anyone who enjoys fashion and sewing, this is a great read!
review 2: I really like this one! Scarlett Santana has a goal to get into a fabulous fashion designing program but lacks the tuition. She begins a patternless sewing school plus takes on
... morethree other jobs to earn enough money. Of course nobody can stretch themselves four ways. Along the way she meets some very interesting people, two of which will benefit her for a life time. Nothing in this book goes as expected. The plot twisting will keep the reader turning pages even if you don't care for fashion and sewing as much as I do!A FUN read!!! less

I feel that it started out slow, but the ending made up for it.

First edition contains typos. This bothers me immensely.
