review 1: The first book of a new series that takes place at the Serafina hotel. The hotel is owned by Wyatt and his wife Iris. They were the hero and heroine of Katie Reus' book Breaking Her Rules. This focuses on a new couple who had been friends for over a year and become lovers in this book as Sierra's life is endangered. Since it is so short it was good that they had the history because they were in bed together within a few hours of the start of the book.
review 2: How I hate it that somehow it's okay to just create some characters without any backstory, no depth, no development but with tons of sex and BOOM that's fine. There are so many things that COULD have been done with these two characters but in the end it was only the combining of typical stereotypes. She'... mores the pretty, young, innocent virgin who gets attacked. He's the dark, dangerous bad boy with tattoos who protects her. They have sex, she gets kidnapped, he saves her and they have sex. That's it. I just summarized the entire book for you. No need to read it now. less
