review 1: This was a good short novella that had a complete story. I wasn't left hanging at the end. Yes it did move very very quick. Like seriously quick. They were dating & pledging their love for each other in a couple days... I'm not really sure how this book & characters fell as far as the series, but even though this book had conflict... Bad guy trying to avenge his brother's death...It was over & dealt with quickly. The tattooed character's cover photo didn't fit the description at all. This time it really didn't bother me, but... Neither character fit for me. I did like the story & found it definitely worth the read!! A great Christmas story that it didn't matter one way or another what time of year it was.
review 2: Miami, Mistletoe & Murder by Katie Reus is a
... morenovella in the contemporary romance Red Stone Series. I was provided a copy of this book by Crush Star Media and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book was published in October 2012.Travis is in between missions and his boss has decided he needs a little down time. It's Christmas, not Travis's favorite time of year. He would rather stay busy. But, this could give him a little time to make progress with Noel, a coffee shop owner. Things get off to a bumpy start though when Noel receives a distress call and she and Travis wind up in the line of fire of a domestic dispute.Noel feels bad about getting Travis mixed up in all the drama, but Travis is happy for the chance to see more Noel.Travis is a hero that you are going to love. Military, washboard abs, and inked, as well as having a few strategically placed piercings.Noel is strong and spunky, the perfect match for Travis. Miami may be warm in December, but Travis and Noel will make it the hottest Christmas on record.Overall this one gets a B+ less
