review 1: Wonderful story! I loved the characters and their relationships. Current and past timeframes are carefully woven together. This book brought back memories of my childhood camp experiences, though we never played so many pranks! This book is all about the various kinds of love in the world. This was a delightful read from one of my favorite authors- highly recommended! Oh, and it has one of the most beautiful covers ever!
review 2: This novel follows 5 very different women who take a trip to clean out/hide in a camp only to go on a journey of self discovery. Each story is followed in steps showing you pieces both from their past and future that shape them into who they are. The author beautifully intertwines their paths to remind them of the good and the ... morebad. Each character leaves the camp seeing a part of themselves they couldn't quite see before. The stories are full of detail and richness. Definitely a good book for a day off or leisurely reading. I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. I rate this book a 3.5 less
