review 1: If you don't like Gus, you probably won't like this book. HOWEVER, you should definitely read it because how can you not want to see what happens to him. Shit gets dyer and real twisted in this one, equal parts horrible and amusing. Gus is like a mut that manages to keep on living IN SPITE OF (insert a shiver here). I really enjoyed the "Captain".The other story lines are not mentioned in this book, but I hope we see what Scott is up too and that other psycho.
review 2: Very enjoyable read. ... moref a despairing individual descending into madness and alcoholism. With the added problems of zombies, and rats ... Looking forward to book 3One little snipe ... The rats went on a little in the last bit but it still didn't take too much enjoyment of reading away. less
