review 1: I absolutely love this book! Such great nutritional tips, facts, and stories. Kelly Dorfman does a great job connecting health ailments to food. Food is the underlying issue. We are truly what we consume. Many parents have no clue how toxic foods marketed directly for children can be. Foods and sleep patterns can directly affect a child's attention, energy, and mood. Thank you Kelly for such an awesome job!
review 2: I only read the ailments that I was interested in learning about and skimmed a few of the others because the stories were intriguing. I was pleased to see that Fish Oil supplements were prominent, as I take a high dose of that myself. Decreasing sugar intake and seeing if cutting gluten out of the diet looks like it may help for mood disorders.
... moreThe overall take-away message is to analyze diet with the help of a nutritionist before resorting to medicine. less
