review 1: I was disappointed in the ending to this one. They mystery started in book one didn't have as satisfying an ending as I would have liked. The whole idea of what happened on the wedding night was too bizarre for me to contemplate. Nothing about it felt real. I also thought that Cora deserved her own book. That little non-romance was fixed way too quickly for me to believe. I have enjoyed this author in the past, but I didn't like this trilogy as much as her previous works. I will be looking for her next book, though.
review 2: 4.5 stars. This was the third book in the series and may have been the best - book one was really good but the writing style wasn't as good. There were several twist and turns that I didn't see coming. This book also solved the mystery, fr... moreom book one, of who caused the mine cave in. Enjoyed book threes hero as well as his son. The romance factor was not as strong in this book as books one and two, but it really didn't seem to matter given, everything else going on in the story line. There's still romance, it just doesn't dominate the book. less
