review 1: I enjoyed this book and like Kevin O'Brien's work. He knows how to ratchet up the suspense and keep you guessing. The only thing that kept me from giving this 4 stars was, in my opinion, it was a good 100 pages too long. Although I guessed the bad guy earlier than I expected, I think the author planned it that way. Don't get me wrong about this book; it was really good and easy to get involved with the characters.
review 2: I really loved this book. It got your attention right from the beginning and it held it to the very last page. It was definitely a page turner for me. I can't believe it was his grandfather all along with the other man he hireded. I wish Olivia and Ian had gotten together more. In the end they had called each other but I wish there was more.
... more They didn't say much about clay being dead but over all I really liked this book. I'm just sad that Gail and Fernando had to die. less
