review 1: I'm withholding stars on this one until I've read the next one or two. Hopefully, they contain this coupling & will explain their dynamic more. At this point I'm… confused and here's why:1. I'm not sure this club where Flynn and Matt met is even a BDSM club.2. This is their first real meeting and not only does Flynn have Matt calling him master but he collars him? Erm… that seems a bit capricious.3. It's clear matt has some pretty low self-worth and I think Flynn's trying to protect him from making mistakes but I'm not convinced that Flynn's not taking advantage of him a bit.Like I said, the jury's still out. I have confidence in my girl to show me what the backstory is to explain this series of events, but at this point I'm still confused.
review 2: 2 d... moreays after reading this. I've decided to drop this to 2 stars, and mostly rewrite my original review.Cute story. Very Kim Dare.I think this the kind of story that is sweetly poignant for readers who identify with any of the characters, or with the situation. In my case, it was a pleasant read. However, just 2 days later, I'm already struggling to remember the story, and even the title. It's a little puzzling, since I didn't dislike the story, it just doesn't particularly stand out.I think if I hadn't been recommended this, and promised to write a review, I might not even have remembered to tick off as read! Interesting, if unsettling experience to find I can't easily recall a story just days after reading it... less
