review 1: With a title including Handcuffs and gloryholes, how can I resist? The easy answer ~ I didn't. This story takes us to the Rawlings men. How many cousins, brothers, etc are there with the Rawlings men? How is it that there are only men in this family? Most of them are gay too. I guess that goes to show, DNA breeds true?Regardless, this very short story involved an abused Willis and a lovely Dom Conrad Rawlings. This story was sweet and the sex did start out with a lovely cock sucking at a gloryhole. Hence the name of the book. This is recommended for m/m lovers who want a fast read. While there are hints of BDSM via a Dom and a submissive, I don't consider this BDSM at all.
review 2: LOL. I love this title. Okay. So everyone knows how much I love Kim's
... more stuff. It's an autobuy for me (assuming it's m/m) and I am predisposed to love them. Even her three star reads are better than most other 4 star reads because I expect more from her while paradoxically being easier on her at the same time. So....okay, On the one hand I love how much Conrad is able to see in Willis. Conrad wants to reach out and get him off the streets or into whatever program he can find when he is ready to accept help. That Conrad doesn't have the whole picture at the time makes him an unusual man and a really decent human being who clearly has his heart in the right place. On the other hand, Willis is the first character that Kim has written that I felt was in no position to accept a Master at the time he does so. Not even a benevolent, well-meaning, loving one. This is a kid that I think is too traumatized to make such a decision, especially since it looks like he can't even read. While I love that Conrad intends to get him on his feet, get him in school or a job, basically do all the things a good therapist and halfway house would encourage, adding the sexual component seems very wrong to me in this instance. It's certainly no more or less than other D/s relationships with dysfunctional characters that have been written but as I read it, the sex seemed like Willis was bartering for his safety and security. No matter that Conrad didn't want that to be the reason they had sex it still seemed like it was. So, all in all, a Kim Dare is never a bad choice...not even this one. But it wasn't my favorite. less

A good read, a little short but it does a good job showing a true submissive finding love:)

I liked the story but wish the characters were fleshed out more and the story was longer.
