review 1: I picked this book up off the shelf without knowing anything about it but I was going on a trip and needed a book to read on the plane. I liked it - it was interesting and a fast summer beach read (even though it was not summer when I read it. I particularly liked the development of the friendship between Elyce and Kelly -- I thought the character development of both the husband and the lover a bit weak.
review 2: This title sounded super cheesy but I was desperate for books and everything I wanted to read was out (at the library). This ended up being quite an interesting and thought provoking book. A woman, dissatisfied in her marriage, meets a man on a plane and starts having an affair with him. Her group of friends all have their own marital issues and... more each one is interesting in and of itself. I found it fascinating how the other women treated the divorced friend and how they react to infidelity. It culminates in quite a surprise that seemed a bit implausible. But overall I enjoyed the read. less
