review 1: I haven't read cowboys in a while, I've tended to avoid them lately since I have a hard time dealing with the nastiness and bigotry they tend to have a lot more of.I've been lucky enough to grow up in a very open family in an area where very little is questioned. I've never even had to sit my family down and say "I like boys and girls the same" and have it be a big deal. So I get a little overwhelmed with the amount of hate in these ranch stories.This one wasn't too bad, yeah there was conflict but it wasn't the base of the whole book.The characters were lovely, especially Josh, he was just adorable. Though he seemed a lot younger than 10 (since I have a 10 year old son myself).It was a lovely read.
review 2: Really good book. When Isaiah gets a call to come pi... moreck up his half brother.. a half brother he never knew about. He had no idea how much that could change his life. He's been attracted to his boss Grady for years. With his gruff exterior its hard to tell how he feels. Josh changes everything for these two stubborn cowboys. I really liked the story and thought it was told in a very realistic manner. I'll read more from this author. less
