review 1: A great read for good information about numerous Queens/Empresses.I would have given this book four stars except that I thought that some of the Queens should have been replaced with more well-known queens. For example: While I was interested to find out more about Cleopatra VII sisters' short reigns, why were Nefertiti, Nefertari or Hatshepsut included? They are WAY more interesting than Cleopatra's sisters, besides at least Hatshepsut was the FIRST female pharaoh; that in itself should have earned her a spot in the book.Many of the Asian rulers I'd never heard of, but all the European and Indian rulers were great.
