review 1: Well my lovelies... You all know I am a huge fan ms. Ashley..... Seriously.. Luv everything she writes... This book is no different. Hot alpha, strong woman, bad assery all around! This book keeps you in the dark a bunch on Deacon.... You don't quite find out about his brokenness until nearer to the end... And that didn't work as wonderfully for me because Cassidy is just was soooooo accepting. I luv how most of ms. Ashley's stories are of people not in the teens or early 20's... Soooo for a woman to open herself and her home to a man of little words and not even get a last name from him.... Kinda didn't work for me for the 5 star rating.But I still loved this story.... Don't get me wrong... It is great, a wonderful story in the amazing style that only ms. Ashley ca... moren write in, which I luv!It also ends in the middle of something huge... Not a cliffy at all, but definitely need to find out if another book is coming and when... Because the set up was intense! Might be a lead in to one of her books already written though... Need to check into the possibility too.
review 2: 3.7. My only issue with this book, and one other was the ending. Yeah its nice to see characters from each book come full circle, but only in my head. Not written in the pages. The reason why is that Kristen Ashley has a special style of writing. All characters are different, but at least for ME I can see the similarities in the characters like tone, sass, and Alpha ness (I Like that) . So in the end it seemed a little redundant to me. Plus I just don't like seeing other characters in certain series, it just shifts the vibe if the story, moves the focus. less
