review 1: Oh my oh my!! Alpha male of all the effing alpha males Raiden... Sweet lord you are one sweet hot badass alpha male! I really think you are about at the top of a very long list of sweet hot badass alpha males! Ms. Ashley has many many delicious alpha males in all her books... But Raiden... Hot damn! Is the alpha male of my dreams! Sweet sweet badass story... Definitely needed some Kristen Ashley in my life... :)
review 2: Holy Moses, sweetheart, honey, chere, jacked Were used one to many times in this book. Chere was said 4 times in 1 page!!! I don't mind terms of endearment but when it's used EVERY TIME they speak to each other, thats a bit too much. The parentheses!! Were unnecessary. His caveman, incomplete sentences made my head hurt. How the hell is that... more supposed to be appealing?? Example- "You be gone when I get back." You be gone?? What the hell?? Was he not taught proper English in school?? The foul language was too much. He watched his language around her grams but cursed like a sailor in front of her. He pulled her hair when she "back talked" to him & she didn't speak up about it since it bothered her. He threatens her with bodily harm & calls her a bitch. What? And yet she still loves him. Hannah's inner monologue grated my nerves. She sounded so immature. Her references to her frue-frue girlie-ness over and over was aggravating. She's a girlie chick, we get it! We got it the first time! So was him referring to her as cute. So many words were overkilled in this book. This book took me 3 days to finish! And I wanted to DNF this book so many times during those days. I did enjoy the epilogue. less
