review 1: 3.5 Starsi really liked the beginning of this book. It was very emotional, nearly made me cry a few times and made me really angry some other times too. You just cannot stay neutral and detached while reading Elle and Prentice's story.However, I was a bit disappointed it grew too slow during the second half of the book. Too much focused on the fairy tale ending, about how Prentice was supposed to save the day and do everything on his own. I was a bit disappointed Elle didn't fight more, even if I understood where she came from. Also, I was surprised that unlike the other books in this serie, their were no haunted castle and long lost ghost story to resolve. But I like the fact that Fiona got to share her family's healing and return to happiness.
review 2: Wow, ... moreI didn't expect to like this so much. I cried so much in the beginning. He was so harsh to her, and I really hated the picture and the ring in the drain. But it was beautiful in the end. The ghostly powers were hilarious though, I especially liked the power to read quicker, wouldn't we all want that one. Though I prefer to have it when I'm alive please, LOL.I think the thank you from Sally was slightly too much, she may have thanked Elle, but she wouldn't have explained it so well, or at least I wish she wouldn't. Jason's lovely. He's the perfect stepson one could ever hope to have.I'm not exactly sure what role Mikey had in his return to the village, but he was a hoot to have around.I think I liked it cause I didn't know it was a ghost and reincarnation story, it was a pleasant surprise. less
