review 1: So refreshing to finally read a book where the author actually knows how to write! The writing is absolutely terrific. The only complaints I have (which obviously didn't detract from my score) were that secrets were kept too long, and sex was withheld too long. Those are peeves of mine, but the author managed to round it out well enough that I felt like I couldn't give this less than five stars.

Miranda is inquisitive and sassy and has a secret, Lord Archer is dark and mysterious but also has a secret. If only they both realised the secrets they hid from each other maybe they could help one another to over come what could become their downfalls. I couldn't put this story down and read it in 2 days with sleep and life being the only things that stopped me. I can not wait to read more from the Darkest London series less
