review 1: I am really impressed by this series! Intriguing world she's created, intricate plots she's woven, and the exquisite eroticism in each of the three I've read thus far…this series--and this author--are big winners in my book! I loved all three and look forward to reading the rest, but I was particularly captivated by the longing in one of my fave conventions, the reunion romance, thus Winterblaze is my favorite thus far. Kudos, Ms. Callihan!
review 2: This is one of my favorites by Callihan. I love the perspective - a romance from an established married couple. The action and plot grab you and suck you in, but the dynamic between Poppy and Winston...Wow. Maybe it's because I have been married for 7 years now, but my heart ached and bled for these characters. I... more loved how they had to look back on their relationship and come to terms with what they found there. I loved the opportunity Callihan gave them to create something new. I have yet to find another author that writes relationships with the compelling messiness inherent in life. less
