review 1: In order to get a decent three star rating from me, a book really doesn't have to do too much. For this kind of novel, even less, it could have one of more of the following items; a good plot, unique/interesting characters/ a plot twist/ good smut, emphasis on GOOD/ or at the very least, a good writing style.This had none of those, a wasted effort. Turn around and read something like "Truth in the Dark" from Amy Lane, much more interesting, entertaining twist on the 'ugly' gay romance gone beautiful with eventaul acceptance. One of my fav gay smut books :)
review 2: Rating: 4 starsBeauty and the Beast is the theme in our time, so they don't turn to beasts but get a special skin condition. Three friends don't see the men that admire them and after hitting on the... more wrong person, they have to find something else then their looks to attract their love interests.Sweet stories but I felt that it was somewhat rushed at the end, if you were shallow it should take time to actually realise you have feeling, here we went from zero to love pretty quick. But all in all I enjoyed the tales. less
