review 1: I Received An ARC Of This Book In Exchange For My Honest Review!I can't believe this is the final book in the series. From the first book in this series all the way to the last book in the series I was addicted. Vance and Portia have a love that envelopes them and at times it consumes them.This is the most suspenseful of all the books which it to be expected with it being the last book. I never knew what was gonna happen next and was on the edge of my seat while reading and waiting to find out.Danger finds them again in this book and you won't believe who it is. Vance and Portia go through so much when they are being held captive. They are put into many life and death situations and have some very hard choices to make. Though there are many sad parts there are just a... mores many happy moments.This book is a good end to the series. It does a great job of wrapping up the story. It does leave the reader with an unanswered question. This makes you wonder what it means.Thank you Lacey so much for taking me on such a wonderful journey. Vance and Portia have touched me and will always be one of my most favorite couples. I hate to see this series come to an end and hope that one day we might get more in this series. Make sure you read these books if you haven't yet. You're really missing out on some wonderful books that will transport you to another place while reading.
review 2: This was a roller coaster of a ending. So much happens in this book that you just have to read it to believe all the things that happen. There is so much anger, frustration and tears throughout this last book that I wanted to just toss the book out. I won't say how the book ends, but I can honestly say I was surprised. This whole series was very nicely written and I really enjoyed it. I look forward to reading more books by this author. less
