review 1: Jestli jsem dal Paganinimu tři hvězdičky, tak si Svědkyně zaslouží minimálně silné čtyři. Kepler přidal k poutavému stylu psaní i poutavý děj, tentokrát na pěti stech stranách nenajdete jediné hluché místo - snad kromě podivného závěru, ten sice nabudil na Písečného muže, ale s dějem už fakt nemá co dělat a těch čtyřicet posledníc stránek už je jen navíc. Ale i tak - výborná severská detektivka od výborného severského autora (autorů), který konečně potvrdil svou kvalitu. 80%
review 2: I like the trend of Scandinavian suspense/mystery novels but Lars Kepler's books tend more toward the "thriller" genre, lots of action, plot twists, not always a lot of logic involved. They are starting to lose my interest as th... moreey become more and more far fetched and implausible where coincidence wraps together a dozen different threads to help solve the "whodoneit" aspect. I really dislike coincidence used this way - as Sherlock says "the universe is rarely so lazy" and using that tool to me is laziness on the writer's part. Still, I like the detective, Joona Linna and his refusal to follow the rules. less
