review 1: Book club selection. This is a reread for me. Read it when first released 5 years ago which made reading it now almost like reading a brand new book. Remembered some things but not all the details. Liked it enough at the time to continue reading the series (have read them all). Realized with this reread that, while good, Untraceable is not the best in the series. Still - pretty intense, sweaty palm, page-turning stuff.
review 2: Promising start to an interesting mystery with a little romance thrown in. However 2/3rds of the way through and there's still no clear progress on the murder except a pretty random fistfight with the suspect; even worse, the two main characters haven't gotten past that annoying "s/he doesn't believe/trust me, I'm hurt, so I'll keep li
... morefe endangering secrets just to show him/her what's what!" phase. I assume they end up together and catch the bad guy, but I'd probably be rolling my eyes all the way to the end. less
