review 1: Though it isn't the first regency romance I've read where the heroine is affected by this particular problem (and I can't think who wrote the other) I thought it was actually very good. The plot is well developed and the mystery aspect is actually of more importance to the reader than the romance which grows (maybe a little weakly) alongside it. I did however find the reasons for the heroine's actions at the end completely eluded me.I also felt that Simon's character was a bit underdeveloped; though the story is sometimes written from his point of view he seems a bit flat, he does what's expected when expected after the initial scenes and the reader never seems to follow him as he grows.
review 2: Konusu son zamanlarda okuduğum ve kendini sürekli tekrar eden ... moreromanlardan oldukça farklı ve güzeldi. Bazı bölümlerde duygu yoğunluğunu gerçekten çok güzel aktarmayı başarmış yazar ama genel itibariyle biraz yüzeysel anlatılmış gibi geldi bana belki de çevirinin aksaklığından ya da tekdüzeliğinden. Ama her ne kadar kusurları olsa da ben sevdim kitabı ve bittiğinde ne kadar kısa diye hayıflandım. Hele sonu benim için olabilecek en iyi sondu herhalde :) O yüzden böyle okunası bir kitapta keşke biraz daha uzun ve ayrıntılı anlatılsaymış olaylar ve duygular... less
