review 1: Reading the e-book Before that Night before reading One Night That Changes Everything really helped when reading this book. I'm not sure I would have cared as much for Eliza or Cooper if I hadn't read the e-book. The plot of this book is Cooper and his friends making Eliza do several dares to get a notebook back. Throughout the book Cooper seems conflicted as to his allegiances - is he really helping his friends or Eliza. Even though these characters are in late high school, they sometimes act and talk like junior high students which makes the book less authentic.
review 2: Eliza dated Cooper to only find out that it was all a lie. His friend made him do it so that he would be initiated into a group well known around school. She later notices that her notebook
... moreis "missing." She realizes that it was stolen. She panics because it is a notebook about her life, her fears, and her feeling toward Cooper. Because of this information she will do anything to get it back. I liked this book because it uncovers the truth about Cooper and makes the reader realize that he is not the person that the author first perceives him to be. I like that the events and thoughts were very detailed and made me feel like I was there the whole time watching everything play out. I disliked that the beginning took a while to get to "action." If you are into reading young adult and romance books, I would recommend you read this. I would recommend this boor for females in high school. less
