Caught Up In Love
review 1: I'd probably give Caught Up in Us 4.5 stars. The characters were interesting, the plot and subplots kept me glued to my kindle, and the romance felt genuine. I thought the romance was sweet, but done in a way that made it unique, which I enjoyed. Blakely did a superb job making the characters relatable, even if their choices seemed odd at times. But the dialogue, particularly the banter, sealed it as a series I'll definitely read.

2.5-3 stars. This could have been a very good read. I liked the plot and how it was starting. But to me for a second chance romance I need both build up and some kind of follow through. It felt like their history just was an excuse to be able to pull off a kind of insta love instead if being something to drive the story and the characters forward. I would have wanted Kat to resist better, to demand more closure and for Bryan to have to gight for her more. Woo her AND me more. There were good parts but not enough for me to connect or really root for this couple. Not a bad read though, but not amazing either.
