review 1: Oh, I really loved this book! I had put off reading it and have no idea why. I read all of Lauren's books and love them all. This is my favorite. It's definitely her best. Very well written. Great character development. Sweet romance. The characters came alive for me in this story to the point I found myself forgetting they weren't real. This was such a relief, as lately I've had a real struggle connecting with recent books!So glad I read this. You will be, too!
review 2: I really love reading Lauren's books. They are always great! They're not too dark or intense but just have the right amount of love and angst to make a book interesting and a good read. And Far Too Tempting wasn't any different. This story follows Jane, who is an indie rock singer and Matthew,... more who is a rock critic. It seems that they've always had a thing for each other from afar but circumstances kept them apart. But now it seems the timing is right. So what starts out as a work relationship soon turns into something so much more for them. I loved how this story progressed. I liked the progression of Jane's and Matthew's relationship. It was sweet to see how their feelings develop. There wasn't a lot of angst (which I liked) and there were definitely some funny moments. Jane and Matthew are wonderful characters that are very easy to like while reading. Being of the Blakely boys, Matthew is playful, sweet, and just amazing. He is also a British which makes him that much more swoon-worthy. Any guy that names their dog, The Doctor (after the awesome show Doctor Who) is incredible in my book. Overall, a wonderful great read that keeps you interested. less
