review 1: I listened to the audiobook read by the author and it was such a fun experience. The characters really came to life and towards the end I avoided driving in the car because I didn't want to finish it! I actually learned a lot about acting and the life of a working actor. I am excited that the book was optioned for a television show because there is so much more I'd like to know about Franny and her life. review 2: Lauren Graham's dialogue in the book is very reminiscent of that of Lorelai in Gilmore Girls--lightening fast, witty, and funny-as-hell, with copious pop-culture references (and 1990's ones to boot!) Loved the book, and can't wait to read the sequel that I hear Lauren is currently writing. I never had any aspirations to be an actor, but this book wou... moreld definitly make anyone second guess that career path. less
