review 1: I like the fact that it was a complicated love story and messy like real life, but am torn on how things actually went down. Overall, I am giving the series four stars because I do like the fact that the book shows the messiness of life when you do have love in it and that is real. It's necessary when the plot is set in a world where love has been taken away because people think it isn't worth it.
review 2: This was definitely my favorite book of the series. I did have some problems throughout the whole series with the way she set up the society. For example, if they blamed love for all of their problems and said it was the only real disease, why did they still have people dying of cancer, etc? Not a huge deal, but I had some questions like that throughout t
... morehe books. I really wish she would have gone just a little further at the end because you really don't get to have everything wrapped up with Julian, her mom and Hana. Maybe she struggled with knowing how to happily end things with Julian or find a good route for Hana to go so she just left it up to our imagination but I would have rather had an idea of where they ended up, maybe in an epilogue or something. But overall, this book made me like the whole series better and I really liked the last couple of chapters. less
