review 1: I enjoyed this book. This author never fails to make me laugh out loud when I read her books so for that, she gets at least three stars. I was engaged right from the beginning and read it in only a couple of days. The author kept you hanging until the end and I was worried it would cause the ending to be anti-climactic but I thought she did well with it. Predictable, but enjoyable. I also thought she did a really good job at insight into a married couple's life. While not everyone can relate to a rock star husband, there were so many relatable qualities and dynamics of their relationship for me that I felt really connected to the characters. Overall, a good, happy ending story!

I thought this was a little to hip, too cute, too much name dropping that the book will quickly age out of style, but it's probably meant for just a short era. But it was an interesting look at quick success in the entertainment world, while a wife tries valiantly to maintain a normal life style. I expected her to get sucked into the madness, so I was glad to see that they came together at then end to try to do what was best for the, selves instead of letting fame and fortune reign supreme.

I'm an entertainment news junkie, so this story was very interesting for me - a peek behind the headlines so to speak. I especially liked how the author interwove her fictional characters with real people and real events. I also liked the fact that the story wasn't neatly tied up at the end, but acknowledged that there was a lot of work that the two main characters needed to do in order to keep their relationship going.
