review 1: I just read that this novel is being made into a movie that should be completed later this year. I had no idea about that when I picked it up at the library as I was between audiobooks and I thought a story that dealt with the death of an infant who lived only 57 hours and the grief of the family would be interesting. I liked the book for the most part but I found it uneven as there were some parts that were very emotional and riveting and others that dragged on. The entire family was dysfunctional but they felt real.
