review 1: I love this book. It's as tongue - in -cheek as Jack Reacher is. It's a compilation of his philosophy of life, bits of advice, notes about stealthily approaching the bad guys, and his likes and dislikes. I especially liked his rules about coffee, which any fan knows is a staple of his diet. There's more, but I'll leave it to the reader to enjoy...hopefully as much as I have. It's an easy read; many can read it in one sitting. For Lee Child and Jack Reacher fans, I recommend it for humorous, pithy light reading about the singular character who is Jack Reacher.
review 2: Quick fun read. I will take exception to two rules. Reacher on Bathing:- You can go 4 days without bathing.- Wrong. - You can go up to 5 days with out bathing before the stink really kicks in... more.Reacher on Clothing:- You can go 5 days without changing clothes.- Wrong.- Certain items of clothing must be changed more frequently than 5 days. Especially if you follow my longer time frame for bathing. - Underwear and socks, 2 days max. - T-shirts, three days max. - Pants/Shorts...well I will give you 5 days on those. less
