review 1: Compared to Book One, I was able to read through this one with very little difficulty. Perhaps it was because I understood the basic rules a little better, or maybe Hedi Stronghold-Peacock knew she had to grow up, or was it that the Were's surrounding her offered up their version of suck-it-up-or-die? Whatever the case I found it a lot more agreeable. Okay so the whole episode of pining for her One True Thing had me tapping my foot in annoyance. Then pulling the 'You can't make me if I don't want to!' made me a tad insane. But I persevered and soldiered through. If I didn't hae, Cordelia, the scathing Were drag Queen and the tactless Biggs to keep me occupied I would have shelved it.Does this mean that I have built up an aversion for our Heroine? Far from it! Hedi knew she... more made some crap choices when she sent Trowbridge and Merry through the portal. Even denying her role in the Pack simply because her Alpha titled was one bestowed by proxy. She had known that it would all be thrown in her face. When Robson finds his way back home he brings with him Heidi's twin Brother, Lexi who was kidnapped at the age of 13. Heidi now has to find a way to get to know the new Robson who came back so she can get to know her brother again. The question is will she be able to love the man her mate has become.Sexy ,Sexy, Sexy, Leigh Evans has written a book that is not your average Paranormal Book. If you are a fan of Urban Fantasy you will love the Mystwalker Series. I found this book very hard to put down, I loved the interactions between the Alpha and his pack and the true commitment they showed to each other. Heidi has a problem with doubting herself sometimes but she always meets any problem head on. I cannot say enough about the beautiful Robson Trowbridge, he is one strong and Sexy Alpha. He is one of the main reason this is a book that you never want to end, I am so glad that this is a series because that Alpha Wolf will make you wish that you were part of his pack. less
