Solving For Ex
review 1: Pretty cheesy and very predictable... there were a few somewhat enjoyable moments, but overall I found myself hoping for this book to end. Also, it killed the use of "warm" as an adjective. Each time the author mentioned a character's "warm brown eyes" I felt myself gag. I didn't really like any of the characters either, so I found it hard to want to continue reading, but it wasn't completely bad. Worth a read if you are looking for a time-killer.

... morensfield Park is a particularly difficult Jane Austen book to update and retell even though many have tried. In trying to stay true to the basic plot of the original I think the author sacrificed her own character development and created plots that either didn't make sense or were very unrealistic. Finally, I didn't actually like how the book ended because it seemed things escalated too quickly but maybe I'm just out of touch with what young persons are up to. Even though I have three critiques I enjoyed the book enough to recommend it and it was a quick lighthearted read, perfect for summer. less
